Great Green Letter from Adanaland

Letter sent by Alan (UK).

It suffered a minor postal adventure: it arrived already open. But, happily, it seems that the whole content was inside. Among other things, these artistamps. If you could see them in person, you would agree they are better than most of the official postal services issues.

  1. I love artistamps, and Adanaland's are wonderful. I think these diamond shaped ones might be his best work yet.

And I just noticed the 12.5p stamps - neat to see them used long after the demise of the 1/2p.

    1. It is not the first time I've got 12.5 (also John has sent them on postcards). I love this kind of postage.

  3. Thanks, everyone! I should acknowledge a lot of design influence from 1930s Tuva.
Halfpenny stamps are still valid as long as you use them in pairs.
Eva, I thought the letter was a suitable use for the Trafalgar stamps. (and by the way, you obscured the name of your home town on the envelope, but left it visible in Berber)

    1. That was a wink for the readers of Mail Adventures who are able to read Tamazight... If there is someone.
